It's about freakin' time! I've been waiting for you to honor my achievements with a Bulova Marine Star Collection watch for ages! So far, I've seen you pay tribute to Aquaman and Michael Phelps with these gorgeous watches. I thought you'd forgotten about me, the definitive (and by far the best) Marine Star!
Recently, I've seen my record surpassed by a young hotshot, but let me tell you something! Back in 1972, Olympic swimming pools weren't quite as deep as they are today. I'm not going to get into the physics of it, but a deeper pool means less wave resistance. In other words, it's easier to swim faster at today's Olympic games than it was in 1972. Plus, I broke all of my records without the aid of a bathing cap or goggles! Heck, I did it with a chestful of hair and a mustache!
Anyway, I'm thrilled. I finally see why you've waited so long to honor me with this Bulova Marine Star Collection watch. It's the best one by far!
