Although a relatively young watch brand, Maurice Lacroix has earned acclaim within the watchmaking industry thanks to an extraordinary series of accomplishments. Founded in Switzerland in 1961, Maurice Lacroix continues to create intricate, precise timepieces for the discerning connoisseur. Furthermore, Maurice Lacroix designs and produces their own customized movements for many of their watches, making each one an incredibly unique work of art.

This Masterpiece Masterchrono Collection watch from Maurice Lacroix features a precise Swiss Made ML67 Customized Valjoux 7750 Self-Winding 26-Jewel Automatic Movement which beats at 28,800 accelerations per hour and utilizes Glucydur balance, a skeleton rotor, Incabloc shock protection, a polished steel pallet and a polished steel escapement wheel. This movement (which also boasts a 44-hour power reserve) is encased in a round, 43mm (1.69") brushed solid silvertone stainless steel case and screwdown see-through exhibition caseback which showcases the customized movement's breathtaking hand applied decorations and blued steel screws. In addition, a highly scratch resistant Sapphire crystal (with an anti-reflective coating on the inside) protects not only the exhibition portion of the caseback, but also the handsome dial as well. The satin-brushed silvertone metallic dial rests atop a black backdrop and contains luminous silvertone hour, minute & chronograph subdial hands, a silvertone central chronograph seconds hand and black cut-out Arabic numeral hour markers. Furthermore, the dial showcases a black outer-dial ring seconds scale, a contrasting tachymeter scale and quick-set day & date display windows located at the 3:00 hour position. Contrasting silvertone and black subdials are located at the 12:00-6:00-9:00 hour positions and measure/display 30-minutes, 12-hours and 60-seconds. Uniquely, the subdial at 9:00 boasts a rotating disc with a cut-out portion which displays the small seconds. In addition, this Maurice Lacroix timepiece has got a solid silvertone stainless steel bezel, solid silvertone stainless steel chronograph function pushers and a solid silvertone stainless steel textured screwdown crown embossed with the Maurice Lacroix logo located at the 3:00 hour position. This Masterpiece Masterchrono Collection watch rests elegantly on your wrist with its hand-sewn genuine black crocodile leather strap secured by a solid stainless steel push-button fold-over safety deployment clasp embossed with the Maurice Lacroix logo and insignia. Additionally, the watch rates water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet - 10 ATM).
